Captain BBQ

 Captain BBQ was a developed for a South African client as an alternative TV cooking programme.  All the artwork was drawn and manipulated in Photoshop and then animated and finished with after effects. A months hard work culminated in the intro sequence and a series of shorts that were interwoven into  the live action shots. 

Also shown are the initial "blind" concept sketches for the character where you see what did or did not survive to the final production.

These are a few examples of the work that was commissioned for Vivlia Publishing (South Africa) and were done at high speed and too tight deadlines.  I had a great time working on these and really enjoyed doing them its amazing what no sleep and way too much coffee can achieve.. It was fabulous to be given such a free reign to produce them.
