Sunrise over Katurah Farm

Painting done in Acrylic of  our Farm - Katurah - that we sold in December, This is the view from our stoep at sunsise.  Incredible sunrises on the farm, I miss them but I definately don't miss having to get up at 5am to see them. 

Sculpture - Cement

And now for something a little different.  This is a sculpture I did a while back in White Cement - in my favorite theme, Dragons but then thats what comes from being Welsh.  This guy now has pride of place on the lounge dresser where he is usually in mortal peril.  He is forever trying desperately to get away from the clutches of a 2 year old.

Captain BBQ

 Captain BBQ was a developed for a South African client as an alternative TV cooking programme.  All the artwork was drawn and manipulated in Photoshop and then animated and finished with after effects. A months hard work culminated in the intro sequence and a series of shorts that were interwoven into  the live action shots. 

Also shown are the initial "blind" concept sketches for the character where you see what did or did not survive to the final production.

These are a few examples of the work that was commissioned for Vivlia Publishing (South Africa) and were done at high speed and too tight deadlines.  I had a great time working on these and really enjoyed doing them its amazing what no sleep and way too much coffee can achieve.. It was fabulous to be given such a free reign to produce them.
